Shipping & Processing
We ship most orders via FedEx Ground Economy or USPS shipping. Shipping charges are calculated based on your order subtotal, destination, and selected shipping method.
Expedited shipping options are available for most items shipping in the continental USA (excluding oversized items), with deliveries occurring Monday through Friday. Same-day delivery is not currently available for online orders.
Order processing time is separate from the shipping/transit time selected at checkout.

Express options aren't available for oversized items. Custom bags still need up to 2 weeks to make before they ship—express speeds up delivery, not production.

Processing Details
Custom bags and non-custom items have different processing times. Please refer to the shipping matrix above for estimated processing and delivery timelines.
Expedited Shipping Exclusions
Oversized items are not eligible for expedited shipping and will ship via standard service only.
Oversized items can be shipped within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. An additional $14.95 surcharge per oversized item applies to shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
Free Shipping
Enjoy free shipping on orders over $99 USD within the 48 contiguous United States. Exclusions may apply. Visit our Promotions page for current terms and offers.
P.O. Boxes
Yes, we ship to P.O. Boxes. Orders are shipped via FedEx Ground Economy or USPS.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is calculated and collected where required by applicable law. Tax requirements vary by state, and customers may be responsible for reporting purchases and paying applicable use taxes in states where Timbuk2 does not collect sales tax.
For information specific to your location, please check with your state or local tax authority.
Gift Cards and eGift Cards are exempt from sales tax.
Freight Forwarders & Business Addresses
If your order is shipped to a freight forwarder, commercial address, or other non-residential location, Timbuk2 is not responsible for loss or damage that occurs after the shipment has been successfully delivered.
We recommend inspecting packages upon arrival and refusing delivery of visibly damaged shipments whenever possible. If loss or damage occurs after delivery, please contact the receiving business or freight forwarder directly to file a claim.
Once an order has been successfully delivered to a freight forwarder or commercial address, Timbuk2 is unable to provide a replacement or refund for loss or damage that occurs afterward.

International Shipping, Taxes & Duties
International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges that are not included in Timbuk2 product or shipping prices. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and may be collected before or upon delivery.
Customs regulations require us to declare the full value of package contents. This includes promotional merchandise, free gifts with purchase, buy-one-get-one offers, and discounted items. We cannot alter the declared value of an order.
Because fees vary by destination, we recommend contacting your local customs authority for information about potential charges. Some countries or carriers may also assess additional brokerage or handling fees.
International Shipping Availability
Timbuk2 ships internationally to many destinations. We are currently unable to ship to the following countries and regions:
Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burma (Myanmar), Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Croatia, Cuba, Eritrea, Falkland Islands, Germany, Ghana, Iraq, Iran, Kosovo, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Nigeria, North Korea, Russian Federation, Russia/Kurile Islands, Serbia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sweden, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
International shipping availability may change based on carrier service, trade restrictions, or other requirements.
International Order Limits
International orders are limited to 5 units per order and 2 orders per address per calendar year.
Timbuk2 reserves the right to cancel orders that we determine may be fraudulent or intended for unauthorized resale.
APO & DPO Shipping
We’re proud to offer USPS shipping to customers serving overseas with a valid Army Post Office (APO) or Diplomatic Post Office (DPO) address.
Please allow additional transit time for APO and DPO deliveries. In some cases, delivery can take up to 4 weeks. Tracking information may also become unavailable after a shipment leaves the United States.
